My First Halloween!

Owen wore his cat onesie all day and then he posed for pictures in his sweetpea, pea in a pod costume that his Aunt Jennifer gave him! It was so big, we just tucked it around him!

My First Bath!

Owen had his first bath the other day! He has just been getting sponge bath's until his umbilical cord fell off! It finally fell off and we were able to give him a bath! He seemed to like it ok, he only cried once!

We had our maternity pictures taken this past weekend. I can't wait to get them! A friend of ours, Arden, took them and she is truly an amazing photographer! So keep checking back...I will post them as soon as I get them! Until then, here are some pictures of me and my belly!!! And one of Miss Emmy. Pam brought over a blue & brown sweater to match Owen's room for her, and as you can see, she is not happy about it!!

Day at the Hospital!

Last Friday, September 19th, I got up to go to work (actually I was going to work at a BAE golf tournament) and on the way, stopped off for my weekly doctors appointment. I was shocked to learn that I was dilated! She hooked me up to the contraction machine and wouldn't you know it...the next thing I know, I have been placed on COMPLETE bed rest and she sent me to the hospital!! So....my day of golf was canceled and Billy and I spent the next 7 or 8 hours in the hospital. They gave me a bunch of shots to stop contractions and then sent me home with medicine that I have to take every 4 hours until the day he is born!!! The doctor really wants me to make it to the October 16th date we have planned. I am working from home and trying my hardest to be a good girl and stay off my feet!! Getting Ready for Owen!

Here are some recent pictures! That is me, Lauren, Markel & Miss Marley getting Owen's room organized after the shower. You can see he got a lot of stuff! Then....by best friend Markel, surprised me with a pack n play when I came home from work one day! Then Markel and Billy put together the swing and the stroller! Don't they look a little puzzled? Of course, Billy had to try it out on our first baby, Emmy! And then, finally, all 3 are ready!
